Anxiety Therapist for Women in Las Vegas
You're doing everything you can.
And somehow it still feels like this.
Anxiety therapy for women in Las Vegas who get everything done, show up for everyone, but are exhausted in a way nobody around them notices.
You're not falling apart. You're functioning. Achieving. Showing up. But underneath, there's a hum that never fully quiets, a low-level alertness that stays on even when nothing is wrong, even when the day went well, even when you're finally lying down and somehow your body is still bracing for something. That's high-functioning anxiety and if you've spent years calling it drive, you're not alone.
You don't have to be falling apart to deserve support or wait until you hit the breaking point.
I work with women who are sick of never fully exhaling, through in-person anxiety counseling in Las Vegas or online therapy across Nevada and Utah
Does it Feel Like Your To-do List Never Ends?
You’re always thinking about the next thing you have to get done or anticipating the next problem to solve. It feels hard to relax. You feel the weight of responsibility on your shoulders. You’re stressed out…. A LOT.
You feel scared and worried more often than you want to admit. When little things go wrong you can get easily irritated or overreact. Or you might just tune out and shut down completely. You try your best to stay calm and in control, but it doesn’t always work, and you have moments where you lose it, get angry at someone you love, and then feel guilty.
THAT’S NOT WHO YOU WANT TO BE IN THE WORLD.
You wonder how you can possibly handle all the pressure without letting it get to you so much.
If you've tried to make it stop before and nothing worked, here's why that might be.
How do you find genuine peace when life is so hard, and it doesn’t seem to ever let up.
You’re living everywhere else but here…now…in this moment.
At the end of the day, you just want to feel secure and know everything will be okay.

Anxiety Therapy for Women in Las Vegas That Meets You Where You Are
High-functioning anxiety doesn't always look like falling apart.
You’re always trying to anticipate what’s going to happen or what could happen, so you’re not caught unprepared.
You worry that you might miss something or mess up something important. This has you always thinking about what else you need to do or remember, or what is the next thing you need to “get on top of”.
Feeling depleted and chronically tired with little energy left for you to do things you enjoy.
Life feels serious and heavy and you aren’t laughing and enjoying yourself like you use to.
You feel like you’re always in your head. This makes you feel disconnected, distant and preoccupied.
You've been called driven, capable, the one who has it together, and some part of you wonders why that still doesn't feel like enough.
SOMETIMES IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THIS
If any of this sounds familiar you're in the right place.

Be honest, how many times have you thought this:
“WHEN X, Y, or Z happens THEN I won’t be stressed out or anxious anymore.
THEN I can have peace”
But that never happens or if it does, it’s short-lived. There’s always new stuff to get handled, figure out, fix, or overcome
Anxiety Looks Different for Every Woman. Here's How It Might Show Up for You.
Holistic Anxiety Therapy
Sometimes understanding your anxiety isn't enough to make it stop.
If you've done the journaling, tried the breathing, read the books and your nervous system still won't settle, it might be because anxiety isn't just a thought problem. It lives in the body too.
A more whole-body approach to anxiety therapy can help when talk alone hasn't been enough.
Social Anxiety in Women
You're warm. People like you. Nobody would ever guess.
But you spend the drive home replaying the dinner conversation. You rehearse what you'll say before you walk into the room. And afterward, even when it went fine, you feel hollowed out in a way that takes days to recover from.
That's not introversion. That's social anxiety. And it's exhausting to carry alone.
Perfectionism and Anxiety
The standard keeps moving.
You hit the goal, and instead of feeling proud, you're already looking for what you could've done better. The fear of getting it wrong is louder than the satisfaction of getting it right.
Perfectionism and anxiety travel together and therapy can help you figure out which one is actually driving
Panic Attacks support
A racing heart before you walk into the meeting. A wave of dread that hits without warning. A tightening in your chest that passes before anyone notices, because you've gotten very good at making sure nobody notices.
You don't have to be falling apart publicly for it to count.

Frequently Asked Questions About Anxiety Therapy in Las Vegas
-
It's anxiety that doesn't look like anxiety from the outside. You're still showing up, still achieving, still holding it together, but internally you're overwhelmed, tense, and running on high alert. It's not an official clinical diagnosis, but it describes something very real and very common in women who've spent years being told they seem fine.
-
You might recognize yourself here: you overthink before and after conversations. You overprepare because being caught off guard feels unbearable. You struggle to rest even when nothing is wrong. You feel like you're always bracing for the next thing, even on good days.
Still not sure? This Psychology Today quiz is a good starting point.
-
Constant mental noise. A to-do list that never fully empties. The sense that you can never fully switch off, even on weekends, even on vacation, even lying in bed at the end of a day that went well. A nervous system that learned to perform in order to feel safe, that hasn't yet learned that safety can exist without constant performance.
-
Yes… and this is one of the most misunderstood things about it. Perfectionism, overpreparing, replaying conversations, saying yes when you mean no, these aren't personality traits. They're coping strategies. Ways of managing the anxiety by staying one step ahead of everything that could go wrong. Therapy helps you understand what's underneath them.
-
Not exactly. GAD is a clinical diagnosis, it tends to be more visibly disruptive. High-functioning anxiety describes anxiety that's driving achievement on the outside while quietly exhausting you on the inside. You may not meet the criteria for GAD and still be struggling deeply. Both are worth taking seriously.
-
Yes, and you don't have to wait until you're not. Functioning and thriving are not the same thing. If anxiety is costing you sleep, ease, presence, or peace even quietly, even invisibly: that's reason enough. The women who get the most from therapy are often the ones who came before the breaking point.
-
That thought; I'm not sure it's bad enough is one of the most common things I hear. If it's affecting your sleep, your relationships, your ability to rest, or just your sense of feeling okay in your own body, it's enough. You don't have to justify it with a crisis.
-
We talk. I ask questions, you share what feels comfortable, and we start figuring out what's going on and what you actually need. Nothing scary. No pressure to have it all figured out before you walk in. Most people leave the first session feeling relieved, just from having said it all out loud to someone who gets it.
I draw from several evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic work. It all depends on what you actually need.
